Lee County is pleased host the 2005 Florida Association
of Counties
Social Service Professionals conference.
The date of the conference is September 28-30, 2005.
We plan to begin on Wednesday September 28 after lunch so that
people
can travel to Fort Myers that morning. We will end the
conference
around 11am on September 30, 2005.
The location we have selected is the beautiful Pink Shell Beach
Resort &
Spa on Fort Myers Beach. All rooms are ocean front with a great
view
and have a full kitchen (this means no one has to bring their
own coffee
maker just the coffee). The rooms are either one bedroom for
$139 per
night or two bedroom for $189 per night. The two bedroom units
have one
room with a king sized bed and one room with two double beds and
two
full baths. These rooms could essentially accommodate 3 people
who are
willing to share.
Off site restaurants are within walking distance or a trolley is
available for transportation on the beach. So once you park, you
will
not have to drive.
